Discover Young Republic’s up-and-coming designers with an unforgettable evening of fashion, creativity, community and spirit. Staged at the exquisite Baroq House on Tuesday 6 September, the evening will kick-off at 6pm with live performances by musical guests Broke n Dj’s & Maxi Vauzelle (Triple J Unearthed).

Young Republic will be showcasing Australian design-talent and wowing attendees with an incredible catwalk installation of men’s, women’s and accessory designers. The show will feature El Amuleto, Banjara Jewellery, Coelho, Angie L Designs, Inspektor, Elgar + Lyle, Accompany by Imagery, Pine Lime, Denise SL Spalk & Monolog.

Young Republic’s online community has recently expanded to the United States, South America and the United Kingdom. Championing local talent on the global stage, Young Republic is currently taking designer registrations and expressions of interest.

The Young Republic Launch Party & Night Market: Tuesday 12 July

On July 12th 2011, Australia’s Young Republic celebrated their official launch party at Sydney’s exquisite Aurora Bar & Lounge. The stylish venue was transformed into a luminous night-market displaying a magnificent range of fashion, textiles, jewellery and lifestyle products.

Over 300 guests showed their support in attending the event spectacular from Australia’s first interactive marketplace for emerging and upcoming local designers. Sophisticated and eco-conscious shoppers took the opportunity to browse a fantastic array of products from Young Republic designers.

A touch of impulse buying mixed with a glass of champagne and the mood was set for guests to witness  incredible fashion-installations from YR labels Ipanema Girl, Kid., ATAT, Casper & Pearl, Evyie, Fiel Sol, Dubbleyou, Toby E Jewellery, Lauren & The Lost Boys, TopazTurtle, Soot-ii-Hothersall, Das Monk and Sovii.

A magnificent night enjoyed by all the Young Republic team extends its appreciation to Chic Petite, IKON, Hair Jamm, Napoleon Perdis, WORK Studios, Hayden Brotchie Photography, Judena Taylor, Juuce and Zoom Photography.

Championing Australian design talent on the global stage co-founders Marianne Sea, Andrew Yang and Creative Director, Natarsha Kershaw revealed exclusive plans for the Young Republic Empire to launch into overseas markets in 2011. Providing opportunities and empowering local designers, Young Republic will be expanding into the United States, South America and the United Kingdom just 12 weeks into their Beta launch.
